Niche Recognizes the 2017 Best Private Schools in America

November 14, 2016–PITTSBURGH– Niche, a website that helps people discover the schools and neighborhoods that are right for them, today released its 2017 Best Private High Schools ranking. For the second consecutive year, Phillips Academy ranked #1 Best Private High School in America out of over 3,000 private high schools.

Niche’s annual private school rankings are based on rigorous analysis of data from the National Center for Education Statistics across factors like four-year matriculation rates and student-teacher ratio, along with millions of reviews from students and alumni.

In addition to the numerical rankings, Niche also released 2017 Report Cards for over 3,000 private high schools, which assign letter grades on topics like academics, diversity, and teachers.

“With the average cost of private school tuition well over $20,000 a year, we recognize that choosing the right private school for your children is a very expensive and important decision for families,” said Luke Skurman, CEO of Niche.
