2017 Rankings Recognize Top Public Schools in Every State

November 14, 2016–PITTSBURGH– Niche, a website that helps people discover the schools and neighborhoods that are right for them, today released its 2017 Best Public Schools and Districts rankings. Over 80,000 public schools and 10,000 school districts were analyzed to create these rankings.

Niche’s annual K-12 public school rankings are based on rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education across factors like academics, culture & diversity, and teachers, along with millions of reviews from students and parents.

In addition to the numerical rankings, Niche also released 2017 Report Cards for public schools, which assign letter grades on topics like college readiness, teachers, and diversity.
